FUN FALL ACTIVITIES

September is almost out the door and October festivities are quickly approaching! Do you have an Autumn To-Do list? This summer was all about Lavender Fields and Vineyards, so I pulled together a few things that would be awesome to check out as the weather gets cooler!

The Great Jack o’ Lantern Blaze

Famous for it’s illuminated pumpkin art, the Great Jack o’ Lantern Blaze is a beautiful site to see! The best part? They’ve opened a second location! You can purchase tickets for the Hudson Valley Location from September 18th through Halloween, with a few trailing available dates in November.

The second location is in Old Bethpage, NY and will be open from October 2nd through November 1st!

NYSCI Drive-In Theatre

Can you believe drive-in movie theaters are still a thing? There’s been a recent surge of pop-up drive-in theaters, so be sure to grab a few tickets soon! One that might be the easiest to access is the pop-up at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, with movies showing from August through October, Wednesday through Sunday. Tickets will start at $35 per car with the shows beginning at 8:30pm and ending by 11pm. It’s starting to get chilly so this will be a fun outdoor activity, minus the chill!

Pumpkin Picking

What’s Autumn without some pumpkin picking? Head on over to Queens County Farm to pick your perfect pumpkin! Admission to the pumpkin patch is free and October is deemed Pumpkin Month at the farm! If you’d like to check out their Corn Maze hit up their September Sundays where tickets range from $15-$20 dollars and include live music, local food vendors, a beer garden and more!

The Witches Brew

Want to cozy-up with a cup of hot chocolate and feel some major fall vibes? Check out the Witches Brew in West Hempstead. Filled with antique decor and a staple restaurant for when the weather gets chilly, this is definitely a place I’d like to try out this year! Just a heads up though, this place is cash only!

Bronx Zoo’s Boo at The Zoo

Want to get into some spooky Halloween fun? Thursdays through Sunday, from October 1st through November 1st you can check out the awesome attractions that the Bronx Zoo has in store for visitors. From extinct animal graveyards, to stilt walkers and Halloween puppets, the Bronx Zoo will definitely put you in the Halloween spirit! Grab Tickets Here

If you do choose to check out any of these places out, be sure to share!

Hope you have a great rest of the week.

With Love,
