For $25 a month you get a beauty box of five full-sized, brand-name beauty items ranging from makeup to skincare. When you sign up, you're able to set up your beauty profile and choose the items you're most interested in, whether it's eye-shadow, skincare or lipstick, the list goes on. BoxyCharm then personalizes a box based on your selected preferences, sent to your door monthly. It's like a monthly gift from yourself, to yourself! If you sign-up today you get five beauty items and your choice of one free gift! If you feel like splurging, there's also additional options to upgrade your subscription. With BoxyCharm Premium you receive 6-7 full sized items for $35 a month and with BoxyLuxe, you receive 9-10 full sized items once every three months! BoxyLuxe replaces your BoxyCharm of the month at a cost of $50. Right now, I'm content with my BoxyCharm Basic, mostly because my husband would go insane seeing me hoard beauty products everywhere. Although, there are other subscription boxes on the market, I feel like BoxyCharm gives you a bang for your buck. If you were wondering if the investment is worth it, I'd definitely recommend it.

ACE BEAUTE EYE-SHADOW PALETTE
As described by BoxyCharm, this eye-shadow palette features twelve colors that are reminiscent of the beautiful sunrises' and sunsets witnessed in various locations around the world. If you're familiar with BoxyCharm, you'll recognize that we've received an alternate version of this palette in a previous box. A downside I'd like to point out is that with every box, you're more than likely going to receive a new palette. Some may love the idea of a new palette each month while others might feel overwhelmed with accumulating so many. MSRP - $34.99

I've really been into skincare recently, but have you ever noticed how EXPENSIVE some products can be? I'm trying to be bougie on a budget, if you know what I mean. So I'm always excited for new skincare products in my BoxyCharm package. The Skin & Roma Face Gommage is an exfoliating cream and the Avant Sleeping Mask is supposed to tighten your skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. While I paid $25 for all of these products, the retail prices are $28 and a whopping $107 respectively, for these two items alone. Let's be real, I'm nowhere at the stage where I'm ready to spend $100 on one skincare item, so this was an awesome treat!

Aside from the Avant sleeping mask, I'm also super excited to try this Pretty Vulgar concealer. My drugstore concealer from Duane Reade is near its end so I'm happy I don't have to physically go out and buy a new one. While all of these items are great quality, with every BoxyCharm order you're not guaranteed to love every single thing you receive. For instance, I normally don't wear light shades of lipstick (even in the springtime I love a dark lip), so I doubt I'll put the lip satin to much use. Four out of five usable items aren't so bad though!

If you have an extra $25 to spare, I'd say give this subscription a try ( and be sure to use my referral link by clicking here. ) They even give you an option to prepay for a three-month, six-month, or twelve-month subscription at a discounted rate. If you decide it's not for you, you can cancel at any time. I cancelled my three gym memberships I wasn't using and went ahead and signed up for this instead!
